It was our first time leaving our pup at Lauryn’s and will definitely be a repeat customer in the future. Process was smooth and communication was great. We appreciate the updates and felt at ease. She was also very patient with our big pup not used to taking stairs. Love that our dog got playmates too! Was overall a great experience and will surely recommend to my friends too!

Amazing! We rarely travel & are very attached to our multipoo pup. We went to visit our Grandchildren for a weekend. Lauryn & Dave were fantastic!!! They gave us continuous & countless updates, photos & even videos to show how happy she was & all that they were doing with her. We could not be happier or more impressed with their outstanding care!! We highly recommend them & can't imagine any better care anywhere else.

After much research, I discovered this boarding service online. Lauryn, Dave, good boy Charlie and the cats took excellent care of Zoe while I was away on travel. Our pets are family members and they are loved and cared for with equal value while boarding with A Step Above & Beyond. Lauryn provided daily feedback and photos that were reassuring to me that Zoe was adjusting and finding her new pack. I appreciated that Zoe was taken on daily walks and had play time with sweet Charlie and settled into a new environment. I recommend their services without hesitation and with highest accolades.

I hate to leave a great review and then they get so busy they can't watch my Poppy girl, but I can't lie either. Lauryn and Dave are amazing! Super friendly! Very clean house and friendly dog. Poppy Abigail Swarner, my neurotic, anxiety filled beagle mix got quite comfortable staying with them and I wasn't sure she'd want to come home. Lauryn sent me multiple pictures daily with Poppy walking, wandering around their fenced in yard, napping in the other dogs bed or just lounging on the couch. She made sure Poppy was eating by bribing her with some soft food- Poppy wanted to hunger strike because I wasn't there- remember anxiety and crazy dog syndrome- that didn't last long and she was off getting belly rubs! They have a large goofy, lovable dog named Charlie who Poppy took to immediately. Charlie was cool sharing the couch, his bed and his walks with Poppy. Definitely recommend and she was a recommendation to me as well! I added photos to show how my scared, neurotic dog behaved. They know what they are doing ! Thank you Lauryn, Dave and Charlie for making Poppy's stay so easy. We will be back!

Lauryn and Dave watched our dog, Zeke, last week. This was the first time we left him with anyone except family. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Lauryn was very good about sending us updates throughout the day including pictures of Zeke and Charlie playing. Zeke was taken on many great walks throughout his stay there. Zeke had such a good time we were worried he wouldn’t want to come home! Zeke also enjoyed his nightly lap time with Dave. We would highly recommend them as they were fantastic!
