It became increasingly obvious when we decided to move our younger dog to a different vet the difference in the quality of treatment. I made the decision to take our elderly dog out of this clinic as well and it was the best decision- the new vet is giving us opposite advice from Chisholm and for the same services I was quoted up to 1700 while the new vet quoted us 450- with the potential (depending on what happens under anesthesia) for the exact same procedure to go up to 800. Procedure is done and it came in way under the max. I am typing all of this with emphasis that I would spend my entire life savings on my animals - cost was not the main issue - it’s truly the quality of care difference that I am first hand witnessing. If you do decide to stay with chisholm - beware of their odd sales tactics and add ons that they try to push -in a medical vet clinic it’s truly appalling. I also heard one of the vets talking badly about several other dogs - I understand that some can be difficult - but our new vet sits and takes the time for the dog to familiarize with everyone in the room - the level of care difference is just so obvious.

We have been bringing our dog and cat for over 4 years. The staff is always professional and nice. The staff always remembers both our pets name. Today we used their USDA certified vet, Dr. Mike to assist with our upcoming cat travels to Germany. Dr. Lawton and staff went above and beyond to help us with this process. We cannot thank them enough. We highly recommend this staff.

We have been taking our Poodle Chihuahua Mix to Chisolm Trail Vet Clinic for many years and saddened by our loss, still struggling for sure. We are so grateful for Dr. Spencer in making our decision easier. We have nothing to say negative about these fine, caring people and any negative comments should be ignored. Great customer service. Very personable veterinarians. The vets and techs are completely comfortable and loving with our cats and were also with our dog. Our dog was diagnosed there with lymphoma, last year and eventually had to be put down after several months of chemo. The treatments had to be administered in Austin and to our surprise, after we lost him, they told us they were monitoring his progress all along and hoping for the best along with us. I felt like they were almost as devastated as we were when the end came. If you are looking for compassionate, quality care for your pets, in a setting where owners can be in the room with your animals, this is the place.

Dr Dawson is truly the best! Her entire team is very welcoming from administrative to vet techs. I’d highly recommend. They have been caring for my dog for nearly 10 years.
