Big Rivers Regional Trail

Great place to relax and unwind. The walk allows you to reflect and just let go of things.

Very minimal park but nice way it is set up to face the runway of the airport and watch planes come in over your head.

At the trailhead in Mendota, there is a beautiful facility with restrooms potable water, picnic tables and grills, and a covered pavilion for gatherings. The park offers a beautiful view over the Minnesota River valley. If you park here, it's an easy walk or bike ride to Ft. Snelling. You can go on from there, and cross the river and enjoy the park at Minnehaha Falls. The trails are in great condition and well marked.

So I just stopped at this park for the first time in years and it's been completely renovated and I walked the wide bike path. Then I walked a couple of the trails and I got surprised with shots of I was able to take some pictures of natural wildlife on the off pass so it's pretty cool.

This place has an amazing over look with wonderful views and also has benches and tables to eat at and it has small barbecues that you can use also. Would recommend coming here near sunrise or sunset its beautiful to see in person!!! Also has amazing trails to go and explore would recommend stopping by if your in the area!!!
