My mom and I brought our sweet dog Finn in because we were afraid something was wrong with him—which there was—the vet found a large cancerous tumor which had begun bleeding resulting in his distress and later, his death that night. It was horrible having to carry him into the building because he couldn’t walk by himself, and I will never forget that night. In person, the staff (especially the vet taking care of our dog, nothing against her, she was kind) seemed nice and understanding of the heartbreak we were going through. However. After the fact, my mom received an exorbitant bill which she called to inquire about. A receptionist answered and told my mom that she QUOTE “could help with her questions”. My mom started asking more in-depth about the exact charges and services rendered, which we were in fact NOT notified about on that night, or told how much those services cost (some of which our dog didn’t necessarily need, because he was actively dying). The receptionist HUNG UP in the middle of the call, so, I guess they couldn’t help after all. I am just shocked at the unprofessionalism, rudeness, and lack of compassion that person displayed during that call. Whoever that receptionist was should be ashamed. If they could not answer her questions they should have said so and simply made a point to connect her with someone who could. You’d think, and hope, that people working in this field—even someone working at the front desk!!— would have a great deal of compassion and respect regarding what their patients/families have to go through in order to need to be at the emergency vet in the first place. On top of the frankly traumatic experience of our dog dying, we were saddled with a very large bill which was not made transparent to us at that time. This just seems wrong, and feels like they were essentially robbing us in a vulnerable moment. I am hurt by this in a multitude of ways, and would not encourage anyone I know to take their pet to this clinic. I’m glad that our baby isn’t in pain anymore, and they did help him pass peacefully. But it doesn’t take away from the anger I feel to think about this person hanging up the phone when faced with an uncomfortable conversation.

Dr. Stange and her staff are some of the most empathetic and caring people I had had the pleasure to come across. Their transparency towards care and solutions are top notch. They saved the life of our beloved cat, Lucius. He was suffering from a urinary blockage and they gave him amazing care as well as post care advice.

Having to go to an emergency vet for any reason is difficult. But from the moment we arrived with our sweet boy, Jax, we felt that this was the best place to be with him. His care was transferred from the emergency team to internal medicine and Dr. Zaccardi and her team took the best care of him. While we missed him so much when he wasn’t at home, we knew he was in amazing hands. Dr. Adamovich performed a challenging surgery on him and gave him a great shot. Ultimately our sweet boy did not make it due to disease progression, but we are so grateful for the team and everything they did for us and him. I recommend this team whole heartedly.

I am writing this review for CTVSEH Round Rock Location Rehab. Nichole, the rehab technician, handled all of my dog Ally’s care with incredible dedication. She went above and beyond to tailor Ally’s rehab to her unique needs and limitations, showing patience, professionalism, and genuine compassion throughout the process. Dr. Sanudo created a rehab program specifically for Ally, and Nichole carried it out flawlessly, giving each session individual attention and care. She always explained what she was doing and treated Ally as if she were her own. It’s very rare to find someone who loves their job as much as she does—and loves the dogs in her care just as much. Thanks to Nichole’s skill and care, Ally made steady progress, and I always felt confident leaving her in Nichole’s capable hands. We truly hated to say goodbye. Anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate rehab care for their dog would be lucky to work with her. —Rana

Dr Barnes and her team are absolutely amazing and I am so thankful for them. They were able to see my girl the NEXT DAY and were so kind to her and explained to me all the steps and treatment needed. All the medicine was well labeled and explained as well. I already knew I would be following the instructions and medications as recommended. I’d only say the area of improvement could be explaining the cost a bit more - but the cost was more than reasonable and fair. I am so thankful for them - truly. Yes, they can be a bit busy but it’s also an emergency facility and they balanced the emergencies that came in while I was there in grace. We were referred for ophthalmology not emergency- but they are great at balancing both departments. Once again - so thankful and really wonderful team from techs to doctor.
