(from Google)I have been getting my propane tanks refilled at this location for the past 5 months. A young Gentleman named Gabe has been refilling them. I usually bring 2 to 3 15 lb tanks which have always taken no more than 4 gallons a piece when completely empty. I have watched very closely to the procedure everytime. The previous 2 times I have went there to refill have been bad experiences, because the other associates apparently do not know the procedure to eliminate the existing air in the tanks, and to refilling them properly. The first time the person did not open up the air valve to release the existing air in the tank. When I had said something to her, she opened it up and just left it open letting the incoming propane out. I asked her to stop because I could smell the propane coming right out which essentially is costing me more money to fill and not to mention very dangerous. I also asked her to start over again from zero, and she did. The second time I went was about a week ago which was an even worse experience. There were two associates who came out, The one being the store Manager who was there to train a new associate to fill the tanks. Same exact issue, did not open the air release valve, and when they did it was left open. I had to tell them to close it because the propane was coming out again. I had to tell them to close the valve as once again the propane was coming out. That tank reached 5.1 gallons and I told them to stop pumping that tank When I asked to speak with the store Manager, to my surprise, she said she was the store Manager. Then she asked me very snively if I was propane certified like she was. I replied No, but I certainly do not want to be charged for the propane that I was not receiving. Although she took a gallon off the final tally, I will not return to this store for propane refills or anything else moving forward.
I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Tractor Supply Co., and it was all thanks to Gabriel. He is incredibly personable, genuinely friendly, and makes you feel welcome the moment you start talking with him. On top of that, his knowledge is truly impressive; he was able to fix my old propane tank and saved me a lot of trouble getting a replacement! It’s rare to find someone who combines great customer service with such a strong understanding of what they’re selling, and Gabriel does it effortlessly. He went above and beyond to make sure I had exactly what I needed. Tractor Supply is lucky to have him, and he definitely deserves a raise.
Absolutely horrible customer service recently. First situation- someone bought and used a set of lawnmower wheels and tires, used them and returned them. The employees here put them back on the shelf for the full new price. Clearly used full of mud and grass and the rubber tangs from the tire missing. Very obviously used. They had them in the wrong spot on the shelf and it was listed for $50 a piece. Even though they were used i still offered to buy them. The cashier rang them up at $75 a piece. And when I told her “hey the tag where I got them says $50” she said “No you’re wrong they’re $75” I responded “well they are very obviously used. Is there a discount on that, because I need them” she responds “No”. So I asked her why they put a used item back on the shelf at a new price and her response was “we do that all the time”. Excuse me? If I were you. Spend your money elsewhere. In a seperate situation: i bought cat food here. Got home and opened it and it was full of bugs and some kind of cobwebs? Not sure what get were. I took pictures, threw it away. Took my receipt and my pictures and asked for a refund. I was told by the cashier “I cannot offer a refund unless the item is here” I responded “it was full of bugs and mold, I’m not putting that in my car” her response was “put it in a trash bag and bring it here”. Absolutely not, I get having the item present for a return. But this was cat food full of bugs. I told the cashier I still need a refund and her response was to ignore me and walk away. Until I made a fuss about it, I finally got my return. Be careful what you get your pets from here

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for one of your employees, Caleb, who assisted me during my recent visit to your Tractor Supply location in Plant City, Florida. Though Caleb had just finished his shift and was walking out of the store, he did not hesitate when I approached him with a question. With a cheerful attitude and professionalism, he kindly guided me to the water hose reels, knelt down to show me the available options, and even placed my chosen item into my cart. His genuine willingness to help was truly refreshing. Even after informing me that he was no longer on duty, Caleb continued to assist me with another item without hesitation, demonstrating an exceptional work ethic and commitment to customer service. In a time when such dedication and kindness can sometimes feel rare, Caleb’s actions stood out as an example of what true service looks like. His positive attitude and willingness to help made a lasting impression on me. I believe Caleb deserves recognition for his outstanding service, and I sincerely hope that his contributions to your store and your customers are acknowledged. Employees like Caleb reflect well on Tractor Supply and make shopping experiences memorable. Thank you for fostering an environment where hardworking and kind employees thrive. I truly appreciate the level of service your store provides, and I look forward to returning soon. Best regards, Harold, H
