(from Google)First time going here! Beautiful park for a wonderful recovery rally!!
Very simple but so peaceful probably a good spot for bday parties the walking trail is a bit short but other than that I recommend this park for sure
My daughter and I go here every week. The playground is newly(ish) updated and covered, there are plenty of covered picnic tables, and it's rarely busy. The bathrooms are a positive in that they were recently built, but a negative in that I do wish they were unlocked more often. After parties, there tends to be trash and other items that are left around for several days and the trash bins aren't emptied often. It still remains our favorite local place to play, as Mills Park is bigger and cleaner, but is more of a drive and gets very crowded.
It's not that the park itself is bad. It's the people walking on the track that won't move over alittle for your kids on their bikes or at the very least stay to one side instead of walking right in the middle so no one can pass them. Or the random people that come straight toward you from who knows where on their four wheelers because they think its funny i guess? Or random people coming out of the nearby woods talking to themselves? Great park for our community...if only we could change some of the residents!
This park though not big has everything a small community needs a pavilion, two kids playgrounds one for small the other for bigger kids. They have a walking trail. A nice stream passing through. Would be nice if there were more places to sit and watch the water. Playground is fenced keeping little children from wandering toward the street.
