Drake Park

This river park is beautiful. So relaxing and easy to walk. The bridge is the frosting on the cake!

This park is like a Disney movie. One person is sun bathing, another person is dancing, one dude is practicing guitar, a dog runs by chasing a ball. No phones in sight. You’d expect to hear “wohowwo yeaaah” in a Hannah Montana style transition over this footage. Clean, beautiful and charming. One of the best parts about Bend.

Very clean and well maintain. We visited on Xmas eve - December 2025, the weather was cloudy and rainy but we were able to walk for a while with out two little dogs, it was a lovely time because a lot of people was out and about and people there were so friendly!

Drake Park has a lovely walking trail as well as water access, restrooms, picnic tables and large grassy areas. There is alot of street parking (4 hour max). There were people floating on paddle boards, there could be some good fishing within as well as alot of crayfish. There are beautiful homes along the waterfront as well as some resturants and downtown access from the parkway.

We enjoyed our stop in Bend Oregon for the night. Great bars and restaurants. We also found Drake Park, which is a great place to walk along the river. But we also found that they hold free concerts every Thursday in July called Munch and Music. It's a family-friendly event with many events, booths, and food. We had a great time and enjoyed the band.
