I would give zero stars if possible I was quoted 3200 for surgery for my cat saying he needed 11 teeth pulled and he was in horrible pain with bone and nerves exposed. They make you feel guilty saying he needed surgery immediately. They lied!!! My cat did end up having four teeth removed as a preventative but no bone or nerves exposed they said he was in no pain this vet made it up to get money. Make sure you get a second opinion they are money hungry!!!

Always a wonderful experience at this office! The staff was incredibly kind, patient and clearly care so much about the cats they treat. They took time to explain things and go over my questions and made both me and my cat feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. So grateful for Dr. Burkhard and her staff!

Dr. Burkard is the best of the best. We rescued a kitten found in the streets of South Buffalo with multiple unexpected health issues. She has helped us navigate diagnosis and treatment options with patience and her abundance of knowledge. She is truly passionate about helping cats and it shows every time she sees my Marvin. We often found ourselves in need of a same day appointment. Instead of paying $$$ at the emergency vet, Dr. Burkard and her staff are always able to fit him in their schedule which we are incredibly grateful for every single time. It is truly worth any price to know your cat is in good hands, although having pet insurance definitely helps! Thank you for all that you do Buffalo Feline Hospital!!!

Dr. Burkard is a wonderful doctor. She is patient, listens to you thoroughly, and is very thoughtful in her approach. I always appreciate how much time she spends with me and my cat(s). The office is quiet and calm and staff are really sweet. It is more expensive than my previous vet, but the quality of the specialized feline care is higher and they always make an effort to explain diagnostic and treatment options so I can make an informed decision.

God bless Dr. Burkard and the entire staff at Buffalo Feline Hospital for taking such good, gentle care of my sweet Simba until his time to cross the rainbow bridge arrived. I credit Dr. Burkard's experience, kindness, and support for extending the time he and I had together. Even amid her busy schedule, she went above and beyond for him to explain every test result, treatment plan, option, and much more. She is thorough and exceptionally qualified. The words thank you simply do not suffice to express my gratitude for her and the entire staff. If you need a trusted, experienced, and kind veterinarian for your cat, or need a second opinion, I highly recommend you bring them to Buffalo Feline Hospital.
