La Plazuela Restaurant and Bar

Service was terrible. We had a group of people, Multiple people didn't get their food or drinks. Food took an extremely long time to come out. My fish tacos were terrible. It looked and tasted like they fried pieces of batter and used that as fish. I sent my fish tacos back, one of my friends sent her fries back. The server never came back to our table. My friend paid her bill separately, however, her food and drinks were on another friend's bill even though it was paid. Food and drinks we never received were on the bill. And because we were a party we had to pay gratuity even though the service was horrendous. The music/DJ was the only thing this place had going for them. It was mu first time coming here and I would never go back.

Food is good, nothing special, but its good. The atmosphere and the service is great. And the waitresses, who are sisters, are great!! They are super friendly and remember our orders, even after a year of not going. Fridays is fun because they have a DJ playing a wide range of good music in both English and Spanish. If you like tequila, try their Cantarito. One of thensisters makes it and its delicious. We usually order either the carnitas plate, quesadillas, carnitas torta, or the steak ranchero. Only reason they get 4 stars is because I dont like the corn tortillas that they serve. Homemde corn or La Finca corn tortillas would take them to 5 stars for me. 😁😁👍🏼

La Plazuela Restaurant and Bar is a true hidden gem! The food is bursting with authentic flavors, and every dish feels homemade with love. The margaritas are spot on, and the bar has a great vibe for hanging out with friends. The atmosphere is colorful, lively, and welcoming—perfect for both casual dining and a night out. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure the whole experience is smooth from start to finish. Definitely a place worth coming back to again and again!

Having a simple late lunch in a very nice restaurant. Service was excellent (admittedly, I was the only patron ) and a lovely chat with my hostess Leticia about the area and business. They are welcoming and allowing people to stay after meals to catch up after Covid isolation. Friday is their busy family night Decent menu of typical Mexican food and a well stocked bar.
