I’ve been working with Keisha, Bailey, & Valerie since early December of last year. Me and Mr. Boone here received a sponsorship that they personally held with Taylor Brewer to assist in service dog training, and I can’t express how much of an amazing experience it has been! They not only help guide you through how to go about training itself but they make sure that you and your trainee are given individual attention to ensure everything is running smoothly, questions are answered, and you guys are on the well taken care of! Before I started the program i had assumed it would just be routine training on what to do and what not to do but they have gone above and beyond. Not only making sure that we are on the right track but providing encouragement and patience to us both as we take on this new experience together. You don’t just get a training team you get a support group of people who genuinely care about your progress and outcome. So thankful God led me to these amazing people and their phenomenal program! 🤎

Keisha and Bailey have been working with me and my pit-mix Bella for the last several months. We have done a combination of one-on-one training, group training, and boarding training. Keisha was able to identify right away what Bella was struggling with and sent us home the very first day with exercises to practice, which yielded immediate results. They are very patient with letting us work in training based on our schedules and Bella’s needs, and always deliver on their promises. They have also gone above and beyond to make sure she gets the exposure she needs to work on specific triggers and not just treat her the same as any other dog. We have had a fantastic experience so far and know we are always in good hands.

Keisha, Bailey, & all of SDTA team gave been wonderful. I sent Samson for the board and train program and I noticed his behavior responses in public was phenomenal. No harsh persistent leash pulling, neutral yet curious about new things like people/dogs, and improved overall obedience. We are now doing service dog training. I am excited to take his training to the next level. I am excited to learn more from SDTA.

We’ve been taking Ace, our 4.5-year-old pittie mix, to train/board with them for the last four years. Our first encounter with Keisha and Valerie was when we took Ace to train with them for a 2-week in-house training. He was a 6-month-old rescue from the SPCA, and he came back to us knowing commands, very obedient, and easy to walk. They are very detail-oriented in their training regimen and are happy to answer any questions you may have about training. Keisha and Valerie love what they do, and it shows. Ace loves Kiesha and Valarie, and that is the only place we will go to board. We know he is safe and loved when he stays with them. He always comes back happy, healthy, and better behaved. Keisha, Valerie, and the team at The Service Dog Team Academy are great, and I recommend them for your dog-training needs!

I reached out and met with Keisha to discuss taking my standard poodle,Tulsa, to train as a service dog. Being an amateur in the world of service dogs, it has all been very intimidating due to the fact, I want to make sure I do it the right way and there really weren’t that many people to talk to about it in my area. As soon as a I met with Keisha, her confidence in herself & her team radiated off of her. I had a list of questions and concerns about how it all worked and not once did I feel rushed nor brushed off as I’m sure they have heard the same questions hundreds of times. I took Tulsa to my consultation with Keisha and within 10 minutes, he had already taken up with her and she was already working with him while we discussed the training plans, pricing, time line, etc. You can really tell that she loves her job and has invested 100% of herself into it. Not only is this company woman owned by Keisha & Val, it is also all family operated. Bailey is their niece & also has extreme talent & patience. After our consultation, I left Tulsa with Keisha & Bailey for the 2 week board & train. He absolutely ate up the cuddles and attention he got from them all. This place is not just another training facility with kennels lined up one after another and your dog gets minimal time being trained a day. No. Your dog lives in their homes with them so they are exposed to all different kinds of environments that you may not be able to provide yourself. While Tulsa was already a very good natured boy to start with, he came back with a listening ear to me and has already started to pick up on more commands. I so look forward to continuing our training as a team as well as work towards him being my full fledged medical alert dog. I know they won’t steer us wrong. ❤️❤️So much love for this family ❤️❤️❤️
