(from Google)Beatiful park. Timbergrove folk think it is a private dog park. Lots of unleashed dogs. Bring pepper spray.
Great little trails in a booming area. Can't wait to get back in a couple of months. I wish the housing developers kept more of this natural habit instead of building water slides and tennis courts.
Become one with this forest as you step in I suggest to ground yourself by removing your shoes, the ground is soft. It's a spiritual place where you can connect with nature by completing getting lost.
Amazing little mixed woodland preserve in the Heights. Great species diversity for such a small area, shows you what some of Houston’s environments should be like. They have events too, check it out! I went to a Moth Night, which was very interesting. Video of a Mantidfly included.
I enjoy visiting this park. Good place for a hike or run under the shade, since there are many trees. If you want a bigger, paved Loop, there's one going around the park. There's a small baseball field where some young teams play at times. Plenty of Street parking around the park. I haven't been to their events but I know they host nature events.
