Beautiful scenery, great views. A lot of cool birds. Everything was kept in nice condition, however the water fountains were not working and there was goose and seagull poop all over the grass near the shore of the lake. It was really nice and there are nice amenities like bathrooms and tabls.

In a city that’s long struggled with inequality and pollution, this protected stretch of land is a small but powerful victory. It’s a reminder that some things should be preserved, not just for the some, but for everyone who seeks peace, meaning, or a moment to breathe. I walked the shoreline with the weight of miles behind me and purpose in my chest. Here, you can feel your soul stretch out again. The trails, lagoon, and sweeping vistas speak to those who’ve fought hard! Those who know what it means to lose and still rise.

My dog loves this place. Birds to chase, a pond to swim in, lots of trails and walkways to trot and run about. The best time to visit is early in the a.m. So beautiful, quiet, and tranquil.

great views of the water. the hiking trails are not super hard but i wouldn't consider them to be easy either, since there are a few steep inclines and descents, and the gravel can make things slippery. i would rate the difficulty to be 5/10! even on a busy saturday afternoon it wasn't terribly hard to find parking. there's a lot of spaces and you can park on the side of the road. the restrooms are decent but bring your own tissue, sometimes they run out of toilet paper.
