(from Google)Easy parking, not real clear of where to go. Nice walk, along the water, on a board walk and concrete paths. Lots of wild life to see. Small observation tower that could use some trimming for viewing but ober all Very enjoyable. Would recommend.
Very nice nature park with lots of birds, fish, turtles and the occasional crocodile. My kids and I even saw an armadillo one outing. I go here regularly and there's always plenty of parking and a good stroll for the kids. All readily accessible and clean. Recommended especially for little kids because they can see so much wildlife.
Beautiful nature preserve with an abundance of birds and wildlife. The boardwalk thru the park mase it a pleasure as it keeps you shaded. Toilets and two small pavilions available.
WOW! I can’t believe I’ve lived in largo for 10 years and never been here!! What an amazing place! Everything (benches, walkways, observation tower, pavilions etc) are unbelievably well maintained. And what beautiful views! The canal, the lake, the raised walkways thru the lush vegetation with water underneath. So much beauty to appreciate and surprisingly quiet. You can’t hear main roads or largo at all!! I took my dog. They do have to be on leash. All the other visitors were super friendly. Only complaint I would have is there are no water fountains AT ALL along the trails and walking paths. There is one upon entry to the park. My dog was t super happy about that! Highly reccomend!!
Beautiful and easy walk, some on the boardwalk some on paved paths. Decent size parking lot with pavilion and restrooms. Walk around the lake is full of surprises: birds, turtle, fish... And viewing tower allows you to see far and spot more wildlife, just bring binoculars. Free to visit and dog friendly.
