McClintock Animal Care Center

Our 14 year old dog started declining around Christmastime and our usual vet’s office was closed. We were able to make a last-minute appointment with McClintock Animal Care Center to get her checked out. A week later, we were back and made the tough decision to have her euthanized. Dr Jennings and the entire staff were so kind, patient, and respectful. We are so grateful for their care and compassion and are pleased to return with our new puppy soon.

This practice is amazing. Every single person we have interacted with from the vets to the nurses and the front office are so friendly and genuinely care about our pets. We’ve been coming for 5 years for regular care and have had several emergencies, a chronic condition, and a surgery here and every single time the staff are supportive, informative, and the follow up is next level. Highly recommend!

So far I've only been in once, but I needed a second opinion for extremely anxious pitt mix who contracted Valley Fever this year and has been experiencing some complications. Were still working to find a solution that works for him, but the care and detail the staff has already put in has been amazing. Every single person I've dealt with so far from the front desk staff, to the nurse to Dr. Nelson, have all been so incredibly kind and thorough. When entering the building, every single person in the building paused what they were doing to not just acknowledge me, but to acknowledge my dog axle, and tell him what a gorgeous boy he is 😊 I've been into veterinary offices before and typically they're all very kind to me, but the kindness and attention they showed my boy was absolutely everything. When the doctor came into our exam room, upon seeing how anxious axle was, instead of jumping right into the exam, she sat with us and chatted for a bit to try and make him more comfortable with her presence. And she was so gentle with the exam, he did better with her than he's ever done with any doctor before! As I said previously, were still working towards a solution, but they have been so kind about answering my many many questions, reaching out to update me on findings and courses of action and have overall throughly shown that they care. This company has clearly taken the time to curate a team of people who genuinely care about animals, and want to help them be as healthy and happy as possible. I've been so happy with our experience so far, we are working to try and switch all four of our dogs and our cat into their care as soon as we can. I love this vet! Aly, the vet tech, is my favorite of course, she just loves my little dog so much and takes such great care of him! Photo attached was actually taken by her!! I adore the ability to text with the vet when I have questions and I REALLY appreciate the check in text from them after they see my dog! Shots? A message the next day following up to see how he’s doing. Exam for an illness or injury? A message the next day to check in! Can’t thank them enough for being thorough and supportive of my boy!

My pup and I had a great experience with McClintock ACC! Everyone was very kind when we arrived, and when we got into our exam room there was a sign with my dog’s name on it, which I thought was such a nice touch! Dr. Grove and Nurse Ally did so much to help Bear feel comfortable — getting down on his level, letting him sniff them, and giving him lots of little treats! They took their time and came to him instead of forcing him to be in one spot. They made sure to answer all of my questions and were accommodating on giving me options for care and letting me choose next steps. A few days after our appointment we even received a text asking how the medicine was working and for updates on his symptoms! I was very impressed with the overall experience at McClintock Animal Care Center. 🤍
