Pet Paradise Charlottesville

The staff were very nice and informative. This was the first stay for my pooch. The staff made adjustments for her special needs. Facilities were nice, although I did not tour the pooch yard area. I recommend Pet Paradise.

Had to board my fur baby for just 4 hours when we visited Charlottesville VA. We enjoyed roaming around the city plus we didn’t need to worry about my fur baby. She was well taken care of and What even better was when we picked her up at the end of the day we didn’t need to pay for anything because of a free stay we got as their new customer. They are highly recommended.

Have been taking my 9-month old puppy there recently because of work and travel and it has been a mostly good experience. Staff is very kind, although requests don't seem to be taken too seriously. I'll make a note that my older puppy has come home sick every time she's stayed there. After an overnight stay for a weekend, she had serious gatrointestinal issues, and after a week of daycare during the day, she ended up with doggie pink-eye AND a respiratory infection. So I would say make sure your dog is healthy and up to date on all shots, including flu shot. There are LOTS of dogs in their groups and they're just going to get exposed regardless!

We were in Charlottesville for a sightseeing trip and we used Pet Paradise for our dogs’ daycare. The staff at Pet Paradise was very nice and very thorough. They made sure that I had all of my pets’ vaccinations and put the dogs in appropriate playgroups. Using Pet Paradise allowed my husband and myself to go out and see things during the day and visit the presidential homes in the Charlottesville area. We stayed at a pet friendly hotel and in the evening we were able to pick up our dogs and bring them back with us where they could spend the night With us and we could be together . I have used Pet Paradise in Huntsville, Alabama as well and had a wonderful experience there also. I recommend Pet Paradise.

We arranged for one day of camp for our two Portuguese Water Dogs (10 and 4) while on a road trip, and then added a day because of a heat wave where they would be much better off in a cooled environment than out with us. It is always with a little anxiety that we do this because we are not local and are just dropping in. Lizzie and her staff were absolutely outstanding! We had complete peace of mind, and on day two the dogs were crazy exicted when we walked in - a great sign! The wonderful workers followed our special requests, and I would not hesitate to use them again. I hope all Pet Paradise locations have the same fantastic management!
