Awesome trails, but so winding that you could easily get confused! Great big disc golf course too.

It was nice however the fitness area had a qr code to use for working out. I downloaded the app and then it asked me to fill out the location. Brownsville, TX was not a valid location so I downloaded the app for nothing. I did see they are adding more fitness centers to different places so I hope that the city is embedded for the app. Of course, I do workout so I know what I'm doing without needing a diagram but it would be great to get it up and working for those that would like to start getting in shape and need guidance. These are not easy to navigate areas

Great place to hike and I think it is very safe. There are no entrances other than the main entrance, and I have never had a problem there There is a disc golf course that is in a little disrepair, but if you are a disc golfer I think you would like it. Dogs need to be on a leash but there is plenty of space There are four or five picnic tables but no barbecue.

What a cool trail! It's so windy and fun! The vast majority of the trail is shaded and it's just gorgeous. I saw a ton of wildlife including snakes (one HUGE one!), an armadillo, a couple different types of woodpeckers, an owl, and some sort of yellow and green bird that I've never seen before. All of this and I did this hike in the middle of the afternoon (around 2:00)! I only saw 2 other people in the parking lot and no one else on the trail. Such a cool surprise!
