(from Google)They have lots of variety of food for cats and dogs as well as farm animal supplies . Good store but I gave them a 4 star because it's hard to get someone to help me , they put the heavy bags of dog food on the top shelf 😔 but if you ask them when you pay for your purchase to take it to the car they will . The also carry baby chicks , clothing and boots etc .
Bought a safe online for pick up. The girls were able to bring it out on a floor pallet jack even though the safe didn’t have a pallet on it with team work they manage to get it out to my vehicle as it not a light safe
I believe one of the marketing slogans for Tractor Supply is "for life out here." They claim that their core customer base is hardworking, blue collar Americans, the kind of people who find a way to get things done. Unfortunately, based on my experience today at their Hemet, CA location, I have to say they are FAILING to live up to the image they wish they were projecting. Today, I showed up to the store and asked for assistance in refilling the propane on my motorhome. It was raining slightly. The cashier told me they were not filling propane today due to "inclement weather." I replied that it was basically sprinkling and asked when they would be refilling propane again. The cashier referred me to the Customer Service counter and asked, over the radio, for a manager to meet me there to answer my question. I spoke with a manager and very gently and with a smile, asked if there was any way they could refill the propane on my motorhome, as my son and daughter-in-law were coming into town for the holidays and needed to stay in our motorhome, which was completely empty of propane, for heat. I specifically said "it is only raining outside slightly, and that I would be so thankful for your help." She said, "it's not about rain specifically, it is about "inclement weather," which can pose a safety risk to our team members." She said that a manager could fill propane, if they felt comfortable doing so, but store team members were not allowed to fill propane during "inclement weather." I asked if there was a manager who would be willing to do it. She said, "everyone working today is a manager, except for the cashier." So, I asked if she, or her coworker at the customer service counter, would be willing to fill the propane. After a pause, and asking me the location of the propane tank on my RV, she said "let me get my jacket and I'll meet you out there." I replied "Thank you SO much! I really appreciate it!" She met me outside, but then told me that she could not fill propane for me. She said that she hadn't realized that it was raining, and that because the ground was wet, she could not fill propane for me. Tractor supply corporate, this is a ridiculous policy, probably driven by fear. Instead, you should encourage, and empower, your employees to solve customer concerns. In closing, I will add that immediately after being refused by the TSC Hemet store manager, I called a U-Haul storage facility in a town about 30 minutes away (Murrieta). I verified that it was raining there, and then I asked if they would have any problem filling the propane on my motorhome due to the weather. Not surprisingly, the store employee who answered the phone sounded as if he thought my questions were a little bit strange, and said "no of course we won't have any trouble filling your propane." So, I drove there and had the propane filled.
I had such a great experience today that I just wanted to send a shout out to Katie and all the crew for being so positive and welcoming in the store. Everyone was so helpful! I've been going to the store for many years. This is a great team they have.
I have such a great experience with the store manager, Brandon and his team first time in a while that I have received great service. His product knowledge is great. His customer service is impeccable and it rubs off on the team. This tractor supply is further away from my home, but it’s the one I go to now I can always find great help here
