(from Google)Very nice walking trail around the park! Nice playground for kids. And a very nice pickle ball court!
We moved into the area 4 yrs ago. Spent a few evening weekends listening to live music. Tonight our first Halloween festivities. What a wonderful evening we had! This park is a wonderful place to visit!!
We love this dog park and even drive a half hour from New Haven to come here! We lucked out today and had it to ourselves, which was perfect. It can get a little overwhelming when there are too many pups, but the size works well if it’s just you and a few furry friends. Be sure to bring water—there’s no fountain for the dogs, though I really wish they’d add one someday. Overall, very thankful for this free dog park, especially since there aren’t many complimentary options in the area.
It was a warm day in February so we made our way over to the Huntertown dog park. What a joy to be able to spend time outdoors with other dog owners and all the dogs had a great day. It is nice that it is available and no “membership” is required. Everyone was really nice and the dogs had a great day. When the weather is in transition laying some straw in the really muddy spots would be a great way to keep the mud to a dull roar!! Either way, it was a fun day.
What looks to be a brand new Park. Had a nice dog park, amphitheater, and a nice walk way. Beautiful big Park. Even and the doggie bags so you can pick up the poop. It had restrooms but they were closed even though it was around 6:30 pm. Not sure When they were open but they were closed when we got there. It had fire pit areas where you sit on benches and have a fire. It was close to the children's Park. The children's Park was made more for under 5 years old. Had a geodome but was 2 foot tall.
