We checked out the visitor center and some of the ruins. It would be cool to explore more.

We went biking, it's fun, we went on August, although there were a lot of flies biting us, the scenery by the lake was still beautiful.

My group venture over here from Caddo Lake State Park as there wasn't much hiking over there. We enjoyed the large loop of hiking available here. The visitor center with the history was also a welcomed, nice touch. Much less people here than the State Park (which I always prefer). We hardly came across anyone the few hours we were here. The old concrete buildings would be perfect for a zombie apocalypse movie 😆. While pretty flat, with easy hiking, this is a great resource for the area.

Amazing! HIGHLY recommend the drive-through route if you want to enjoy from the air conditioning, although the trails looked very inviting! The nature growing through the industrial ruins were picture perfect. A hidden boat launch at the back of the park. Free to enter, and only saw one other car while we were there on a Sunday afternoon. This was the best part of our trip, and was just a side stop!

Creepy and secluded. Not well marked at all. Seemed dangerous. No maps for hiking. Dock was pretty, saw a few deer. Good place to launch a kayak or canoe. GPS was confused and no one else was there, most of the main roads in the grid are gated off and inaccessible. History is very interesting but not much is posted about it, no one to answer questions about visitor center.
