The Terrace Restaurant at Lake Area Adventures

The food is amazing, hot, fresh and very tasty. Kelsie and Bry are the absolute best, they made our visit memorable. The cinnamon ice cream and bread pudding is delicious.

Hands down Rylie is the Best server in the city of Lake Charles! She’s so friendly, attentive & really cares about taking care of her customers. Our drinks are always refilled before we even ask. Our food comes out hot & delicious every time. You can tell she enjoys what she does. This kind of service is very rare! We will definitely be back!

Everytime i bring my 4 small kids they are greeted at the doors with such enthusiasm! Rylie is so quick to take my order and make sure all the kids are fed within a timely manner! This place is a fresh breath of air! Love it so much!

Not only were the shrimp large but they were fresh out the grease, well seasoned, and fried to perfection! As a French fry connoisseur, these were perfect! We went on a Tuesday so it was around $15 but our server Kelsie said they are typically around $20. Which by the way, if you haven’t been to The Terrace or had her as your server you are MISSING OUT! Kind, helpful, and cute as a button. She made sure we didn’t want for anything and kept the jokes flowing. Definitely made us feel like family and didn’t mind answering my 1,000 questions. We will for sure be requesting her our next visit! If y’all haven’t been to The Terrace to see her, don’t walk- RUN! Food and service 10/10!

Lake Area Adventures is truly a gem. After care program is absolutely phenomenal. The concession in the back offers an impressive array of choices. The Terrace serves up the most delectable food. My personal favorite is the chicken skewers with potatoes and broccoli instead of salad. I also thoroughly enjoy the garlic Parmesan wings as well. The front desk boasts the best customer service always smiling always has a good attitude. Just a fantastic family friendly place.
