I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be said. I called first thing in the morning and explained that my dog was breaking out in severe hives and that Benadryl was not helping. I specifically asked if they could see him because it felt like an emergency. I was told they were fully booked and that he would be fine to wait until the next day. As the day went on, his condition got worse. I called back again, and not only could they still not see him, but no one advised me to seek emergency care elsewhere. During that call, I was placed on hold for 38 minutes, and when someone finally returned, the tone was dismissive, rude, and made me feel like I was doing something wrong for calling about my dog’s condition. Thankfully, I contacted Cherry Point Animal Hospital, and they immediately told me to bring him in. They treated it as the emergency it was. My dog was given injections, monitored, and sent home with medication. I was later told his throat was swelling due to an allergic reaction and that the situation could have turned fatal if I had waited. What concerns me most is not that they were booked — I understand that happens — but that no one took the situation seriously or advised me to seek immediate care elsewhere. That lack of urgency and communication could have cost my dog his life. Cherry Point Animal Hospital stepped in and handled everything professionally and immediately, even though they were not our regular vet. Going forward, they will be the only place I trust with my dog’s care. I hope this review encourages better communication, professionalism, and urgency in situations like this, because no pet owner should be put in that position.

The staff is very caring & helpful. We have used them for at least 25 years with our pets & a neighbors dogs because of her health. There have been approximately 15 dogs & 1 cat that they have helped with..from shots to surgery to treating other issues. The took care of our bulldog, sheltie, boxer, 3 Akita dogs & now a Norwegian Elkhound. The others were Chihuahua, Weimeran, & a Pomeranian. We have no complaints at all through the years. Great people

I just love the staff of Valley View not only for their compassion for the work they do but for dedication they put into all their patients but also for their families. They take time to explain everything and clearly made sure that my cat was comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent veterinary care. They really go above and beyond.

Don't bother calling if you need a farm call. Your call will not be returned. Called on Monday for sick cow. Cow dead an fri. Same thing for a farm visit for sheep. Called in sept. Had a sick ewe. Still waiting for a return call. I guess if you have a dog or cat you get service Sure miss Doc Fuller you Called he came any hour

I love this clinic! They they are very good with all of our pets. They are not an expensive clinic to go too. I was surprised at how much it cost for my 9 yr old cat to get his yearly vaccination, flea/tick meds and physical done. It was roughly $200.00. They even neutered one of the dogs and they did a wonderful job. I love a clinic that cares more for their patients.
