Chabot Veterinary Clinic

We had been going to Chabot vet almost 20 yrs. We have a 9week old puppy who was having bladder issues. I called my vet, Chabot, and was told they are booked out 2 weeks but the doctor would get back to me by end of day. I took my puppy to Sage. Did not receive a callback till the next morning! Will not be back

My trust in Chabot Veterinary Clinic is beginning to erode due to repeated lack of response, despite my understanding of how busy things can get. This has happened on more than one occasion, and it's deeply concerning when caring for a chronically ill rabbit with conditions like megacolon. At times, it feels like urgent action only comes after a patient is already in crisis, and that’s not acceptable for animals that rely on consistent, proactive care to stay stable. I respectfully urge the clinic to improve communication, especially with owners of medically fragile pets. Please don’t let silence be the reason a rabbit ends up in stasis.

I wish I could give this clinic more than 5 stars because they deserve it. My cat has been in more than most and Dr. Neely and Dr. Harvey always take such wonderful care of him. He has had two surgeries and is almost back to his normal self. I know I have to be the patient from hell as I am always calling about my cat and I can't thank them enough for putting up with me and my cat. This place is the best.

We live in Petaluma, yet drive our bunnies to Hayward to see the experts at Chabot Vet Clinic. Dr. Harvey, Dr. Leuman, and Dr. Neely are all WONDERFUL and committed to your animal companion's health & happiness like no other vet/s I've been to. These three have gone above and beyond to help our animals when they've been in life-threatening situations. Their standard of care is the gold standard and I wouldn't bring my bunnies anywhere else. I can say with much confidence, they are the best rabbit vets in the country, so if you're lucky enough to live within driving distance, don't bother going anywhere else. This clinic is outstanding, ethical, affordable, and incredibly caring. I am deeply grateful for all they've done for our beloved animal friends.
