(from Google)⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We traveled from Oregon to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and thanks to a recommendation from ChatGPT, we found this amazing restaurant. We couldn’t be happier that we chose to celebrate here. Everything was absolutely outstanding. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was elegant, romantic, and welcoming. Every member of the staff made us feel truly special throughout the evening. One of the most memorable parts of our experience was the beautiful surprise of having our table decorated with rose petals and receiving a thoughtful anniversary card. It was such a kind gesture that made our celebration even more meaningful. Without a doubt, this has been the best restaurant we’ve visited on our trip. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in the area and will happily recommend it to everyone. Thank you for making our first wedding anniversary an unforgettable memory!
My wife and I had such a good experience trying Vintana for our first time! We went for her birthday and it was pretty open (lots of parking space and tables open, BUT it was a Wednesday). We really enjoyed the view (got to see the sunset) from our booth and it felt really intimate. Our server Kevin was so kind and very accommodating. He gave us space to eat but checked in every so often to make sure everything was just right. As for the food, I will say the portions are generous. You would think that for the type of restaurant Vintana is, the portions would be smaller but we were pretty much full after our appetizer and salad! Speaking of appetizers, the shishito pepper with pork belly is PHENOMENAL. Might just be personal preference but the dish was spot on and it was out favorite. Would also recommend the paella because they make it look really nice and pack it with seafood. For dessert, we ordered the key lime tart. We thought it would be a small piece but we literally got a huge bar. We were shocked (especially since we were SO full by then) and went on to eat half of it because it was so good. Always room for some dessert :) Overall, Vintana made my wife's birthday a very special one. We will definitely come back in the future and we believe the quality:portion:price is well worth it.
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I paid for the Valentine’s Day 3-course dinner ($115 pp). I selected outdoor seating with the rose pedals + bottle of champagne add-on, which was so worth it. They made a rose pedal heart on the table, and had live music outside with a talented singer playing love songs on her guitar and piano. The food was delicious. Small portions, but some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. The roasted pepper stuffed with aguachile was genuinely phenomenal. I honestly didn’t know what the other items were but I included their names in the captions of the attached photos, but everything was delicious. Our server was so friendly and made an effort to make our night special through attentive service, constantly keeping our glasses topped off. The restaurant is interestingly located above a Lexus dealership. You park in the lot, enter the dealership, then take an elevator to the top floor. The interior is gorgeous and has a large bar, with plenty of restrooms. Outdoor seating has patio heaters and a pretty fire pit. The view overlooks the city. For Chase Sapphire Reserve holders: yes, this restaurant is part of the CSR Exclusive Tables. You will get your $150 statement credit if you pay with the CSR. But be sure to reserve WELL IN ADVANCE on Open Table if you want to dine here, especially during a holiday/common celebration… On Valentine’s Day, pretty much all other exclusive table restaurants were booked and this one had two or three openings when I checked a week before Valentine’s Day.
We’ve been following renowned executive chef Deborah Scott for years, so we knew our bellies were in the right place. However, the service we received from Issac and Emma was absolutely impeccable. This team of servers went above and beyond, were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made for an evening we will never forget. The cocktails, popovers, and sampling of the steak tartare set the tone right away. Next up was the light and crunchy kung pao calamari, shishito peppers with pork belly, and the crusted brie with crostini. Do not pass on these appetizers, you will not be disappointed. Everyone enjoyed their entrées, but the showstopper was the unbelievably creative and delectable desserts. Ohhh myyy gosh, the ube cheesecake and mud pie are to die for, but the warm butter cake is what I would choose if it was my last meal on this earth. Vintana is a true gem in Escondido. Service is exceptional. Food is amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening
We went there last Saturday for my daughter’s 3 year old birthday and the experience was fantastic! We sat at table 48 and it was perfect for us since our toddler could get a little grumpy in a restaurant, we didn’t want to bother other customers. The food was amazing, the portions were bigger than we expected so we ended up packing a lot of food home. And our server Nick (or Nicolas) was very very nice! The manager Robert was very nice too. It was our first time visiting Vintana and we are pretty sure we will visit again in the future :) Ps: we thought we might get a small tiny treat since we noted “birthday celebration” when we made a reservation, but we didn’t get anything 😆😆😆 but it’s okay, we still had a good time. Thank you!
