Beautiful lake with a walking path around it, small short. Has a park as well and the toilets are clean.

I visited lake Lily park for the first time this weekend. I have to say the christmas tree in the middle of the pond near the fountain is a really beautiful touch and the gazebos at the edge look really nice as well. The lake has a ton of over growth on the edges, it makes it look not well kept. The lawn parts seem mowed and the grounds seem well taken care of, but all of the foliage at the edge of the water looks downtrodden and unkempt. Worse than of that is this park has a homeless problem. I went for a walk and was followed by a homeless man.. went down to the gazebo, where I thought someone was painting....but in fact , another homeless man was there on his computer set up for the day and they started yelling at each other. 🤷‍♀️ It was a bizarre experience having him turn to me to say "Go. Go go... go. " Just.. Strange. I went back to my car and drove down to the other part of the lake around the other side and same exact thing , three or four homeless people came out of nowhere trying to engage in conversation that makes a woman alone have her spidey senses go up. I took a few pictures and left. I'm all for people living their lives but not when they approach you , follow you, and are randomly high pitch screaming. I'm not sure if they all were harmless or not but it wasn't a place I'd want my kids to hang out. It is really pretty there though, and if it were not for that would have been quite peaceful. I loved the birds, wildlife. The scenery was really quite beautiful and it was nice catching the lights come on briefly before I left. Is day off visiting walk worth someone worth you. The cobblestones are really really pretty.

Lake Lily Park is as adorable as its name. It’s a small park area but it’s so quaint, just off of the small downtown of Maitland and a great spot to hang out. There’s a nice walking path that circles the small Lake Lily- you’d have to do quite a few laps to reach a mile but it’s still getting steps in. All along the path are benches and other seating, even a cute gazebo. There’s a kid playground and bathrooms and it’s really a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, bring your dog or a good book and chill.

If you want a spot that feels like a little piece of paradise without leaving the city, Lake Lily Park is it. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially when the sun is going down 🌅—perfect for just walking, thinking, or spending time with family. 🐕 Dog lovers? You’re set. People are always walking their dogs here, and it makes the place feel alive and friendly. 🍴 Hungry? The park is right next to restaurants, so you can grab a bite before or after your walk. 🌿 The vibe? Relaxing. Peaceful. Like the world slows down just a little so you can breathe. It’s not just a park, it’s a place to refresh your mind and soul 🙏🏼. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

Lovely day for a stroll, beautiful views from every angle. Historic site that I'll have to come back to visit when it's open or during tours. Decorated for the holidays, can only imagine how beautiful this is at night. Great playground for the kids, pet friendly, and lots of benches to take a pause. Would definitely visit again.
