(from Google)i took my dog here because he kept licking his paw to the point where the bottom was raw the front desk lady was amazing and helpful no complaints there but once we were seen it went downhill from there, the vet tech was extremely! rude she asked me “what exactly do you want us to do about that” umm make sure he’s okay? she kept being rude and not really communicating to us about anything at all when they took my dog back she said she’d be right back (into the room) we were there for about an hour and half before the front desk lady noticed and she said they’d call when it was time to pick him up. once i went to pick him up a different vet tech brought him back and was again being extremely rude to me and my dog i didn’t care too much i already knew the staff was awful but as i was walking too my car i noticed my dogs paw was covered in blood i went back in immediately and the front desk lady told me it was possibly from the vet techs when they were cutting my dogs nails i know my dog doesn’t like his nails being cut i was told they’d call me if they had any issues instead the vet tech just told me my dog was a bad dog (he’s not he’s super sweet and i’m sure he was just nervous) anyways the front desk lady told me the veterinarian went on lunch and if i wanted to speak to her she’d call me, when she called me she quite literally told me it wasn’t their fault and they didn’t do anything to make him bleed. my dogs paw wasn’t even close to bleeding when i brought him in i paid extra for his nails to be cut when i checked if they did they didn’t his nails were still long will never go back to this animal hospital and i do not recommend them to anyone else!
I’ve had their plan for over 8 years I would not recommend this. All you benefit is free office appointments & shots & dental cleaning. If you have an emergency they send you to an ER . This plan is just a rip off. If you have a pet to pass you still have to pay until yearly contract is up.
I had a disappointing experience at Banfield. I took my dog in because she had pus coming out of her eye, and before the vet even examined her, the tech started suggesting multiple tests totaling around $150. When I asked if the vet could check her first, they finally did—and the vet only recommended a $52 test. It feels much more commercial now, as if they’ll run unnecessary tests unless you specifically question them. Additionally, the drop-off appointment system is extremely inconvenient. In 12 years, I’ve never had to leave my dogs like this. They don’t provide a clear time frame, meaning you have to keep your whole day open. Overall, this visit felt more like a business transaction than quality pet care. Nice staff but the company seems to be more commercial now.
I have been with Banfield the past 3 years. I owe 2 adopted Huskies, and the team and staff at Banfield have been extremely helpful, responsive, and caring in helping me care for and manage their care. The Banfield Team is also accessible when I have a concern or need a question answered. My team, your team…Team Banfield!
Kelly Warner DVM and staff did a wonderful (surgery) (neuter) job on our 9 month old Oreo. We were well informed/reminded/from day we made the appointment for Oreo's surgery. We were given step by step instructions on what our part was to ensure all goes well before and after the surgery. Everything from cost to possible added cost in which we were given the option to saying yes or no too. The staff at Banfield (inside the Petsmart) were professional and friendly. They acknowledged Oreo by name each time we had phone calls, or in person contact. They REALLY care about our puppy as if he were their own. After surgery we received a phone call to let us know how the surgery went, a good time to pick up Oreo, and home care. We also received a phone call the next day after surgery from Banfield staff to check on Oreo! Very impressed. I have been going to Banfield for Oreo since September 2021, and have been very, very happy with the treatment of our puppy, as well as all information given to us. I recommend this VET office 100.%
