Clip-It-Up Pet Groomers

GREAT GROUP OF PROFESSIONALS!!! We recently had our adopted 3 year-old miniature schnauzer groomed there and every facet of the experience from calling to make an appointment to the actual grooming could not have been better. Katie set up the appointment for us, and although Cooper came with calming pills, Katie said bring them but we will not likely need them. Lynn met us when we arrived and explained that they take their time and may give the dog a break between activities (mobile groomers can't do this). Cooper looked great when we picked him up and never needed a pill. The next week we were at the vet's and she endorsed Clip-It-Up. They are a pleasure to work with and have very fair rates for their services. Thank you Lynn and Katie!!!

This is a great place! probably the best deal in town and the staff is extremely kind! They are the only one of the many places we've tried that can manage our two dogs without muzzles, etc. We have two pitts that are sweet but hate having their nails trimmed. It was torture seeing how they were treated at other places. The staff here just has the touch I guess. Dogs pick up on stuff like stress, fear, etc. Take the reviews that mention it being dirty with a grain of salt. It's always clean in the morning when I drop them off. Yes, there's a lot of hair everywhere at the end of the day. Seems to make sense to me as to why that might happen. Isn't that the point? Let them seal with the mess so you do have to. This is the best place in town!

This team is phenomenal with my highly anxious German shepherd! Not only were they patient and paced with the process, but the results exceeded my expectations! My pup will be seeing these professionals regularly from now on!

I had a fantastic experience at Clip It Ups! The staff were friendly, efficient, and did an amazing job grooming my German Shepard puppy. I could tell my dog felt comfortable with them, which is so important. On top of that, their prices are unbeatable for the incredible quality of work they provide. The owner is extremely kind and clearly cares about the pets and her customers. Highly recommend to anyone in Williamsburg!

I’ve taken my two dogs to this groomer three times I believe, and each visit has been progressively worse. The second time, they shaved far too close around my dog’s eyes, leaving her with scabs. While the staff apologized, it was a mistake that simply shouldn’t have happened. The third visit was even more concerning. My other dog came home with cuts on her neck and chest, which later scabbed over. She scratched at the scabs until they opened, requiring a vet visit. She ended up needing antibiotics, steroids, and pain medication to recover. It’s clear this groomer needs to improve their handling of dogs and take accountability for their mistakes. Whoever responds to reviews also needs to show more professionalism instead of dismissing customer concerns. I gave this place multiple chances, but after these experiences, I’m done. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone who values their pet’s safety and well-being.
