Our family is a brand new frog-fam thanks to the knowledgeable and supportive help from Evett at Duncan’s Pet Shop. She walked us through necessities and crucial care points to help us succeed in keeping our new pal “Jumpy” the PacMan frog healthy & happy. Thank you for your help Evett, and to Duncan’s for having all the products we needed to get going! We’ll be back soon for more crickets & possibly more critters!

Over charge for rats. There mediums are small. And cost almost 14 dollars after tax. I would have to buy 2 to meet my full grown ball pythons needs. Would not reccomend to anyone! Northwest seed and pet has much fairer pricing, and are honest about sizes.

We love this pet store! The owners and employees are super knowledgeable and helpful. My kids love the room with the animals. The fish we’ve bought have all been very strong and healthy. Skip the big stores and support this neighborhood gem!

We love Duncan’s and frequent this store for our pet care supplies. The only downside, and it’s a big one, is that the pet food we purchase 9 times out of 10 is full of bugs and we have to run a few cycles in the freezer before we can use it. It doesn’t matter if we buy bulk or packaged feed, everything has come home with bugs.( Beetles and moth maggots) Really frustrating, I’m always afraid I’ll end up with moths or beetles in my pantry from this store!

I recently got two baby rats, and they are wonderful! One is a black Berkshire rat named Sanji, and the other is a black hooded rat named Zoro. They are incredibly sweet and, to my surprise, it only took them a few hours to start exploring and even jump onto my hand. Before getting any pet, it’s important to do research to ensure you can take care of them properly. I didn’t ask for advice because I already know how to care for rats, but I’ve heard of people receiving incorrect advice in the past. At the pet shop, there were two employees I really appreciated. They were very kind and helpful when I reserved the rats and came back to pick them up. However, there was an older woman who, in my opinion, wasn’t very kind to her coworker. She spoke to my friend in a rather commanding tone while handling a jumpy rat. I understand the situation, but there was no apology afterward, which didn’t leave the best impression. Overall, it’s a nice little pet shop with almost everything you might need, and the rats I got from there are healthy and thriving.
