Sherwood Forest Park

This is a nice little park surrounded by houses. Kid friendly with fresh new grass turf under the clean playground equipment. It is kept up and taken care of. There are benches, picnic tables, and trash cans. There is also a basketball court for shooting some hoops. The park is a decent distance in from the street for safety. There are only a handful of parking spots including one handicap space. A cement sidewalk trail wraps around the grassy tree filled parameter of the "Sherwood Forest". This is also a dog friendly spot for walking your fur babies. Since children love this park, please be respectful and bring doggie poop bags to clean-up after your dogs. This is a hidden gem. No restrooms.

Great little park. Perfect to spend a little time away from home with kids. Quiet. Peaceful. Clean.

They did "upgrades" about a year ago. They had more for kids to do before they ever touched anything! They have all this space and they couldn't make it bigger??? There's a lot of kids around there and only 4 swings! Come on Clarksville, you've done better for other housing areas!

The picture of the playground on Google doesn't match what is there. Only reason for the low review is that it's not a good playground for children under 5. But does seem to be a nice walking area through the trees, free parking lot, and basketball hoop

Just wish there was a potty but so fantastic especially if you have a crawler!!
