(from Google)The nice thing about this place is the ambiance but the food doesn’t taste good and has major issues. I ordered the quiche with a side of hashbrowns and berry pancakes. The pancakes were burnt, cakey and dry, the syrup was not real maple syrup very gooey, the quiche was rock hard on one side and inedible and the hashbrowns were really bland. They ask for tips at this place to order at a kiosk and sit at a table. None of the tables have any napkins or condiments, you have to bring everything to your own table.
Really solid breakfast spot with a relaxed outdoor vibe. You sit surrounded by greenery and rustic wood, almost like a little hidden oasis. Even when it’s busy, it still feels calm and easygoing. The food absolutely delivers: the waffle with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a scoop of ice cream was excellent — light, fluffy, not overly sweet, and topped with genuinely fresh fruit. The savory options are just as good: the salmon bagel was well put together, nicely balanced, and served with fresh sides. The omelette with avocado, toast, and fruit looks simple, but that’s exactly the point — good ingredients, done right. One small thing that would take it to the next level: freshly squeezed orange juice, and definitely served in a glass instead of a plastic cup. That would really match the overall quality and vibe. Service was friendly, relaxed, and efficient — everything came out quickly without feeling rushed. Bottom line: great breakfast, great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.
Basecamp Dinette delivered a cozy little flavor escape 🌿 We tried the quesadillas and veggie quiche and both seriously good. The quesadilla had that perfect golden crisp with melty, savory filling, and the quiche was rich, cheesy, and comforting without feeling heavy. Bonus points for the fresh fruit and those addictive sweet potato fries 🍠✨ Service was super friendly and welcoming, just the kind of place that feels easy to settle into. Only downside: food took a bit longer than expected to come out. Overall, definitely worth it for the quality and vibe and just go in ready to relax and enjoy the moment.
Basecamp Dinette is a solid find for a high-quality, relaxed lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is consistently attentive, making it a reliable neighborhood staple. The sandwiches are excellent across the board. The tuna sandwich is a standout: fresh, flavorful, and a great choice for a clean, filling meal. They clearly put care into their coffee and other refreshments as well.
I have made time to visit Basecamp both times I've visited Burbank, in June and August 2025. Both visits were absolutely amazing! Their iced dirty pumpkin chai with oatmilk is one of my favorite drinks I've ever had, I dream of it often (I live on the east coast sadly). I loved the brisket breakfast tacos, and the teriyaki chicken and rice bowl was really good too! Nice selection of craft beers and other drinks. I also love the vibe here, and both the indoor and outdoor seating options are great. Staff are friendly and service is great! Highly recommend, and I hope to be able to come back soon!
