They have a little something for everyone to enjoy from IPAs to sours, and even the big barrel aged beers. They have little on-site only rare offerings along with an amazing to-go list of their most recent release. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the Reuben Deep Dish with corned beef, sauerkraut, shredded mozzarella, gouda, thousand island dressing. Also had the Nachos with cheddar, goat cheese, smoked pork, pico de gallo, chimichurri, sour cream. Even our kid’s wood fired cheese pizza was 🤌🏻. Very kid friendly with a “kid’s corner” play area, and a welcoming outdoor area for those with dogs too!

The beer is fantastic. Environment awesome. Got a nice DJ spinning some classic records. The nachos were amazing. And don't forget to mention the service was excellent.

What a fun place! It has live music sometimes & we loved it. Also, it's kid friendly with great pizza!!! We found street parking pretty close & easily around 7pm on a Sat, but there was a line after we got there.

A friend highly recommended Forager Cafe, which is why I went there with high expectations. Hmmmm, how can I say this....I was disappointed. I ordered their black and tan beer. A tasty choice (check out the photo). Then I asked for a reuben sandwich with a side of fries. I really liked the two-tone rye bread. There was modest amount of corned beef. Notice I didn't say 'generous.' The kraut, Swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing were a solid compliment. BUT the fries.... Check out the photo and look at the fries. These were double dunked in oil, greasy, slightly charred, and meh tasting. I looked over at another patron's plate of food and saw her fries looked perfect. Golden, single dunk in oil, and crisp. Can I add a sad face emoji here? I called over the bartender and had him look at my fries, then look at the other patron's, and tell me the difference. He saw what I saw. I told him what was wrong with mine and asked why. He apologized and said he'd take 50% off my food bill. I saw him go back to the kitchen and have a conversation about my fries, which I appreciated. He didn't blow me off and let the kitchen know they dropped the ball. I've eaten at a lot of places from dives to fine dining, and I think the sign of good eatery is one that can excel at the basics.....like french fries. Plus, when you have your "A" staff working in the kitchen, but your staff sends out subpar fries to a customer...what does that say about the kitchen staff and leadership? Will I go back? Not sure, but there other places I've eaten at in Rochester that are consistently good. If I ever have family or friends in town and we go out to eat, we're not going to Forager Cafe.

I had Door Dash delivery to my hotel room so I cannot judge Service or Atmosphere, just the food. The boxes that the Cast Iron Mac N Cheese With Beef Brisket, Caesar Salad and French Fries were sent in, were all filled to the top. This was enough food for 2 adults who like to eat! For the price and the quantity, I expected it might have been lower quality but everything lookedCaesar Salad amazing. It tasted even better! Especially the Cast Iron Mac N Cheese. It is creamy and comforting with a wonderful contrasting finishing crumb. Then we got beef on top which added a sweet filling protein. I also felt good after eating. I did not feel bloated, even though I ate until I was full. That is a sign of fresh and healthy ingredients. I would come back to try more of the menu at any time!
