Canine Command

We had an excellent experience working with Joe and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for dog training. Joe came to our home for two training sessions and provided an incredible amount of knowledge, guidance, and support. Not only did he teach us how to effectively train our dog, Charlie, but he also left us with valuable training tools, including leashes, a harness, treat pouches, CBD oil, calming treats, and high-quality training treats. When we started, Charlie was extremely energetic and difficult to manage. He would jump on people, furniture, and even our dining room table. Thanks to Joe’s training methods and the confidence he gave us as dog owners, Charlie has made tremendous progress and is learning how to be a well-behaved, obedient dog. Joe didn’t just train our dog—he taught us how to continue the training every day and become consistent leaders for Charlie. We use what he taught us daily, and the results have been life-changing. We feel much more confident, comfortable, and safe with our dog now. Joe is knowledgeable, generous, patient, and clearly passionate about helping both dogs and their owners succeed. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has done for our family and for Charlie. Five stars all the way!

Joe helped us with our two 2 1/2 year old Bichons Frises. Joe has a wealth of dog training knowledge and we greatly appreciate his positive reinforcement methods as opposed to so many trainers today that are using e-collars/shock collars/prong collars, etc. We needed some help with a few habits that were disruptive, and the dogs made great progress during the sessions, and are continuing to progress as we work with them. Most of all the, dogs loved working with Joe! Thank you so much!

I met Joe while volunteering at the shelter. I watched how he worked patiently with one of the dogs. I was impressed with his positive approach to training and I knew that was how I wanted to be trained in order to train with my dog, Porkchop. I was initially attracted to Canine Command and to Joe as a trainer because of his dedication to the dogs at LCDAS and in offering free training to adopters of these many unfortunate pups looking for homes! 😢 So I hired Joe for help with my daughter’s dogs that my husband and I walk on her work days. Two large dogs that are both dog and people reactive, not in an aggressive manner, just wanting to play and interact. But a Great Dane and mastiff mix are both difficult to handle! Joe worked with both dogs for one fee and was able to make good progress after only four total hours. He gave us a lot of instructions on continued training, which we are all doing. He also outfitted the dogs with new harnesses and leashes (at his cost) which has also been a big help. I highly recommend Joe for dog training! I think you will be very pleased! And if you are looking for a new best dog friend, he can also set you up there with several sweet dogs in need of a good home!❤️

Joe came over and helped train our hound mix River. We learned so much and he got River listening to commands indoors and outdoors. We also love the harness we got from Joe. Would 100% Recommend!
