(from Google)Great industrial styled place. Coffee shop was great.
Beautiful trail and well maintained. Is is near a waste water treatment plant. We disliked the portapotty smell.
Not a fan of this one at all. We first tried going right after crossing the bridge and gave up after 3/4 a mile. The water treatment plant smelled horrible, and a few hundred yards past that we began running across buzzard carcasses. I stopped counting after the 9th. We finally ran across a huge tree that was covered with them. There was so much feces on the ground around it that it was bone white for 20 yards in each direction. After that we backtracked the other direction towards the brewery/old mill site. Would have been attractive if not for the all of the Antifa and acab tags spray painted in very large letters on the old walls. Given that most were dated 2021 it’s clear the park service has no interest in cleaning it up. The whole thing was neither appropriate or fun for the children. Such a shame as the surrounding areas are wonderful.
Love this area and this trail.
This is a wonderful place to walk and observe turtles sunning themselves on logs. New wildflowers appear everyday. It is a great gift to the public.
