Tail to Tail Training

Let me tell you a tale about Tail to Tail!! They have shown incredible patience with my foster dog, Pico, and such dedication to helping my partner and I get him ready for his forever home. Prior to Pico going, he was reactive to EVERYTHING. But Tail to Tail gave us the tools to help him be a calm, confident and loving dog. He was always a sweet boy but now can let that show in every setting. It has truly changed our household and Oscar (our cat) is the most grateful!! Their monthly group classes are also a great way to keep us accountable which is arguably the hardest part. We cannot rate them highly enough. We have used Tail to Tail Training for both training and boarding. They are so knowledgeable and kind and really helped us with both our pups. We needed some assistance with our (late) Berner’s behaviors after the birth of our first child and noticed a huge improvement after a stay with Christine and Toni. More importantly, they taught my husband and I how to continue the training and be consistent at home! Our new pup loves to go on holidays at Tail to Tail and we like that he can do “refresher” work while he’s there! Thank you Christine and Toni!

We just started training yesterday and, in just twenty four hours, our undisciplined, easily distracted, 10 month old puppy has learned the following commands, "sit," "place," "leave it" and "let's go." Christine and Toni are amazing at what they do. We have only just begun with our training, but to see results so quickly in a ten month old puppy is amazing. I love the fact that they explain every step of their training and make certain that you understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. Christine trained under Cesar Millan many years ago, and her expertise and professionalism is it true reflection of learning from the best.

Tail to Tail (Christine and Toni) took on a stray dog we rescued from the streets and transformed this sweet but large and strong dog into a well behaved and obedient dog. She sits, stays in place, walks nicely on a leash, has been tested positively with cats and also now knows how to play with other dogs. We could not be more delighted with the transformation of Daisy Mae. In addition to training Daisy Mae, they trained us on how to work with her. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Yeah....I whole heartedly can say that Tail to Tail Training is the best training and money I have spent on my own dog and on my two fosters. My own Cookie (monster) was well... A monster when it came to other females. And then there is my feral foster Sarah (black lab) who would not let anyone touch her and lacked confidence. And then we have their top three most difficult dog ever, Chip. The house is quiet now for the most part and when not, it can be controlled back to quiet quickly. All three are "civil" now to each other (but always with supervision) because my Cookie monster thinks she is the BOSS the minute you leave the room. So, not only did Tail to Tail Training help my dogs learn what is acceptable, wanted, needed from them....they have taught me and my husband how to ask and handle these strong minded fur balls! I highly recommend!
