(from Google)Social Roost Kitchen & Bar is a total gem in St. Pete! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, stylish, and energetic without being overwhelming. The menu is creative and thoughtfully put together—every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen really cares about quality and execution. The cocktails are top-notch, perfectly balanced, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Service was friendly, attentive, and never rushed, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re meeting friends, heading out for date night, or just looking for a great spot to eat and unwind, Social Roost absolutely delivers. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious food in a great downtown setting. The menu is small but thoughtfully curated, and every dish was incredibly flavorful — elevated, beautifully paired, and prepared with fresh herbs and spices. It feels like casual dining with fine-dining quality plates. The artwork is bold and interesting, adding character to the space. A 20% gratuity is automatically added to each check and is clearly noted on the menu. Overall, a memorable dining experience.
Great atmosphere and food. Chicken and biscuits, chicken and waffles, and the pancakes are delicious. The mimosas are fresh and the bar is very nice. Outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day.
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be honest the weight was a nightmare, we had originally had an 8:30 reservation and were seated around 10:30. We were informed they were no longer doing the prefixed menu and it worked out for the better. By the end of the night we didn’t mind that we had waited. The Bruschetta was to die for, the short rib was amazing. I got the refresher drink and it was also very good. Our server was excellent as well so shout out to her.
I needed a bite and some coffee after walking around town taking photographs, so I hopped into Social Roost for the first time. I was immediately seated at the bar in a seat at the end. I had plenty of bar space to get comfortable. My bartender was Paul, and he was instantly welcoming and there to take my order. I really can't say enough about his top notch service and friendly professionalism. I felt at home. I ordered the Eggs Benny (Braised and seared pork belly, two poached eggs, collard greens, and hollandaise sauce on a biscuit, served with dressed mixed greens) and coffee. I only wish the lighting had been better to capture the images of the food to do it justice. I found it unique and very delicious. When I am back visiting St. Petersburg again, this will be another must stop.
