(from Google)My rescue dog, Rudy, and I started to train with Roger about 3 years. In this time, Rudy has gained a tremendous about of skill in not only scent work and odor obedience, but confidence, manors, and harnessing his high drive and determination into a positive experience. Roger is extremely knowledgeable, he has a dedication and love for canines and their humans as well. He does his best to personalize classes to your needs. He also believes in lifelong learning! He is not single or narrow minded. He continues to grow and develop his own skills and brings that fresh insight into class. I can not reccomend Roger with K9 Nose Sports enough! Give nose work a try, you and your dog will be hooked!
Roger is very knowledgeable at the scent work sport! My 2 labs start barking when we turn down the street. They are always excited to learn and come home tired. Scent work helps my senior lab keep an active mind. My younger lab is too smart for her own good, so scent work helps her busy mind. It's a very relaxed environment! No question is a dumb question. We recommend k9 nose sports to anyone interested in dog sports!
My corgi and I LOVED Roger's beginner nose work class! I learned so much about the nosework sport, and my pup was always exhausted after the class. Roger really tailors the class to each specific dog! He is so knowledgable about all things nosework, and each dog's "run" of the nosework exercises were at their own pace! Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a class to learn more about your dog's sense of smell and to tucker them out at the same time!
My dog Ruby and I took classes with Roger for several years. When we started, I knew almost nothing about Nose Work but decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a highlight of our lives! Ruby LOVED the sport and also loved Roger! She would come find me to remind me when it was time to leave for class! Roger has an incredible wealth of knowledge about all aspects of dog behavior along with true expertise in Nose Work— whether you’re interested in advancing to participating in trials or just want to enrich your dog’s life (and your own!) with a highly stimulating and incredibly fun activity.
I started my dog with the intro nose work class. He loves it, always excited to go and happy to see Roger. I was worried about my dog because he is not disciplined in regards to commands, but that is different with nose work. Roger is very receptive through text/email/phone, the information shared is thorough.
