Tom's Dog Training

Thank you, Tom, for giving me and my family the tools to ensure our Cavapoo puppy grew up to be a wonderful dog. We get compliments all of the time on how well behaved and responsive she is. We have recommended you to many people in the community. Your training gave us peace of mind when we have her off leash (in safe places), and when she is in our home. My husband and I are planning a vacation with our 9-month-old energetic puppy, Kona, who will be flying for the first time. We contacted Tom for his expertise, opting for the 'puppy & obedience' package. In our initial one-hour consultation, Kona excelled, and Tom effectively covered a lot. We're considering the next package with three sessions to prepare Kona for the flight, gradually progressing upon our return from the trip.

Tom is a fantastic dog trainer! My boyfriend and I recently got a puppy (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog) and wanted to get him started on training as soon as we could since we got our puppy at 11 weeks. Tom was super responsive when scheduling and had flexible hours to accommodate our work schedules. With Tom’s training our puppy picked up the basic commands during our sessions as Tom would first introduce the command to our pup and then once our pup understood what to do, Tom let us practice in front of him to make sure we were following through correctly. We covered responding to his name, sit, down, spin, shake (paw), leave it, drop it, crate, come, stay, and walking techniques. Tom is also super patient and our puppy loved to be with him. We miss Tom and are planning to reach out to him to learn more!

Tom did a fantastic job for our family! He worked with our large, high-energy, adolescent labradoodle over four sessions and taught us how to eliminate the chewing, toy-stealing, jumping, and leash-pulling behaviors that were creating chaos in our house. Tom was professional, focused, and gentle with our dog, and our whole family has benefited hugely. Highly recommended.

Tom is terrific! He tailored each of our training session to our needs and worked with our timing. We were amazing on how he helped us train our puppy to listen to basic commands and work on more difficult ones (such as ringing a bell, walking well, and son on). He is extremely patient - especially with the puppy! Tom knew how to tackle each task we requested. He also worked to keep us on task as we trained our new dog. We highly recommend Tom!
