(from Google)"Just got back from this trail—definitely a good one! Peaceful, scenic, and perfect for photography. Great for a relaxing hike or just clearing your mind while capturing some amazing shots."
I love this park space as it bisects a green space through the area, following the river. Not only is it lovely, but it grants access to some phenomenal bike trails and jumps, which in turn are some of my favorite things about the area. I especially love the AntHills jump park & adjacent related stuff.
What a beautiful hidden gem :)! Now that the weather has finally started to cool down, my friend and I wanted to get some steps in and walk on a trail. I was randomly googling some trails nearby and decided to give this one a shot and I’m so glad we tried it out because I can see myself visiting here pretty frequently. The parking lot has so much space which is always a relief. Right when you start walking, there's a concrete road for folks who just want to walk/run and a separate dirt road for bikers. It was really nice seeing so many kids outside on their dirt bikes just having fun with their friends. What’s really nice about this trail is that there’s a good amount of shade provided by the trees so even if you were to walk during the warmer seasons, you’re not being scorched to death. I also love how there’s benches, fields, and a river right nearby. If you’re ever in the area and need some outdoor time, Terry Hershey Trail is the place to be!
A great amount of parking came here with my sister. While on the trail a friendly little neighborhood cat popped out of the trees. Plenty of shade, benches, picnic tables. Neat bike trails as well.
This entrance to Terry Hershey Park is our favorite! The park has so much to offer, including a bayou, a steep paved hiking and biking trail, a dirt biking trail, plenty of seating areas, exercise stations, a playground, and great spots for picnics. The trail is shared by both bikers and pedestrians. It’s also perfect for wildlife watching—we’ve seen various birds and rabbits. Plus, the parking lot off Dairy Ashford Road is very convenient. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for outdoor activities!
