(from Google)just grading the basketball court: having double rims is terrible already, each basket isnt NBA height and both rims are crooked. If you want to play basketball on this court make sure its soon after it rains because the baseboards are covered in bird poop. This court needs work.
I take 3 kids several days a week when the weather is amenable. Several shaded areas with tables and seating, and hard surfaces to do chalk art. We have never used the basketball court or the grill. Lots of green space, conducive to be used for soccer practice.
Come here often and love this park. Plenty of different activities for kids and lots of seats for parents to take a load off your feet. It has the new artificial turf that the city has been gradually adding to all the parks too. A big improvement from the wood chips that were previously here. It does have some shade but can’t really recommend it during the hottest parks of the day.
This is our favorite park. Soft synthetic ground. High monkey bars and some medium level ones. Walking path that goes around it. Little pavilion. Basketball hoop.
Wonderful place to take the kids for a good time at the park. Nice and quite, in one of the safest cities in Texas. My kids loved all of the jungle gyms, and other structures there to climb and play on. You can almost bet getting 2 to 4 hours of fun at this place.
