Kona Steak and Seafood

My husband chose Kona Steak & Seafood for his birthday dinner, and I am so glad he did! This was our second visit, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere truly reminds me of a restaurant in Hawaii, it has a tropical vacation like vibe. Our server was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. We shared the Coconut Shrimp appetizer and the Steak Bites appetizer, and both were fantastic. I ordered the Surf & Turf special, which was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. The filet mignon in my Surf & Turf was good, and the bearnaise sauce that accompanied it was stellar. My son ordered the Truffle Lobster Mac & Cheese and a Caesar Salad, and he enjoyed both dishes. To make the evening even more special, the staff surprised my husband with a complimentary birthday dessert with dry ice, which was such a thoughtful touch and fun show. Overall, we had a great dining experience. The food was excellent, but what really elevated the evening was the outstanding service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Went to the happy hour in the Zen Den for my cigar with my husband and a friend. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place. Great food, lovely service, cute ambience, yummy drinks. Gave me a little show and treat for my bday too! Tip: we sat in the bar but it’s not huge, so if you want a bar seat, go earlier rather than later.

So good in every posdible way. Service was top notch our waitress Was so helpful and pleasant. We were seated quickly. It’s so nicely decorated too. We really like enjoyed our meals. Many good choices on the menu too. We’ve decided this will be our go to when we visit monterey. Pleasant atmosphere, located at a mall, where you can walk and enjoy nice landscaping of beautiful trees and plants.

It’s not easy managing a party of 11 on a busy holiday weekend but the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Our group of kids and adults took full advantage of the many menu offerings and enjoyed the loco moco, poke bowl, fish tacos, mac & cheese, pulled pork, orange chicken, and seafood pasta. All delicious! Our server Matin was especially sensitive to food allergies in our group. When we encountered an issue with one of the meals, Matin went above and beyond to resolve it quickly and professionally. Hooray for Matin! He definitely deserves to be recognized for excellent service. This is a great place for large groups. Come with a big appetite as the portions can be quite large!
