North Carolina Sandbar

Can be fun to anchor and chill, but it can turn into a mess pretty easy. Minor traffic causes a ton of wake in this area. Wear water shoes if you go. I know it's sand, but a lot of stuff gets dropped there.

Better than the scene in Caddy Shack, so many boats. And then there's the quiet at sunset; so beautiful!

Great time to hang out at the lake very family friendly, you have the opportunity to meet new people hang with old friends there may be a game if football going on or someone doing karaoke from their boat. It's cool that you can anchor down and swim in the middle of the lake because the water is shallow enough to stand depending in your height of course but I live the lake and all my lake people

The name is awful but pretty appropriate. This sand bar is not secluded so you get beaten to a pulp from the waves of passing boats. It’s a great time though and more family friendly than the South Sand Bar.
