(from Google)We visited Smith Creek Park here in Murrayville just 1.7 miles from our home! A hidden gem with picnic tables, playground and a 1.5 mile walking trail around the park!
Beautiful Park with a 1 mile loop around a peaceful lake. There is a playground for children, clean restrooms, and ramadas! It's a great place for a kids birthday party, walking your dogs, fishing, kayaking, or just a nice picnic with family.
Great short 1.3 paved trail around the water, path shared with cyclists of all ages. Benches set up around the water along with dog stations. Nice covered pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms. Area has a playground for smaller children.
Amazing it’s in a neighborhood. but it feels like your in the forest Lots of turtles and catch and release fishing
Went this past week for the first time. I was fishing from the dock. Didn’t catch anything. Lots of turtles and I saw a lot of forage fish in the water - that’s a good sign. Beautiful park, relatively quiet and peaceful. Will return to enjoy the surroundings. Probably won’t fish though. Seems like one of those lakes that is all living room and no kitchen.
