We can't recommend Jeremy at The Dog Wizard enough! Jeremy has been absolutely awesome to work with, and we truly can’t say enough good things about him. He helped us so much with Jaxon’s anxiety and gave us practical tools that actually work to help him. From day one, Jeremy was incredibly communicative and supportive always giving updates, sending us videos, taking extra time after lessons to talk things through, and making sure we felt confident moving forward. We learned that Jaxon is slightly fearful of some dogs and Jeremy took extra time working with us to help Jaxon learn that they aren't scary. What really meant a lot to us was how much he genuinely cared. He came out to our neighborhood to coach us through real-life situations, which made such a difference in helping Jaxon succeed where it matters most. We boarded Jaxon for a few days while we were out of town during training, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Jeremy isn’t just a great trainer he’s someone who truly wants the best for both you and your dog. He really knows what he's doing. All of The Dog Wizard staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful every step of the way. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Deirdre was my trainer 🐾❤️.I’ve had my pup, Harley, since he was about four months old. He is now almost 1 year old next month. Over time, he began to develop significant reactivity—especially toward cars, people on bikes, and motorcycles. At the time, I didn’t realize his behavior was fear-based. It escalated to the point where walking him became extremely stressful. He would lunge and even bite in an attempt to get to the cars, slipped away from me a few times, and had zero recall. Walks were honestly a nightmare. I decided to board him for a week with Wizard to help stabilize this behavior, along with several other issues. Deirdre was our trainer, and from the start she gave me realistic expectations. While I knew a miracle wasn’t possible in one week, I was hoping for more manageable behaviors and solid commands that I could continue working with—and that’s exactly what she delivered. Leaving Harley was very hard for me. He’s tiny (only 6 pounds!) and truly my baby boy 🐾. Deirdre was incredibly responsive and reassuring, and within just a few days I could tell Harley absolutely adored her. Honestly, I’m glad it was only a week—he might have forgotten about me! 😂 Knowing she only had a short time, Deirdre wisely focused on Harley’s biggest stressor: his reactivity. Since coming home, he has shown zero reactivity to cars, and walking him has become such a joy. We both love being outdoors now, and instead of stress, our walks are peaceful and enjoyable. Harley seems noticeably less anxious overall. While I know consistency and follow-up are still needed in other areas, Deirdre built a strong foundation that I finally feel confident working from. She also came to our home on Harley’s first day back and worked with him there, allowing me to record several videos for reference—which has been incredibly helpful. I also love that once you graduate, you’re always a graduate. Wizard offers weekly meet-ups, and graduates receive discounts on day camps, which makes continued support feel accessible and encouraging. Harley has a fun but anxious personality, and Wizard truly helped me understand my pup better and gave him the tools he needs to be the best dog he can be. I’m beyond grateful for the experience.

We brought our 12 week old ECGR Murray to the Tampa Dog Wizard for 3 weeks of puppy training. Deirdre is his trainer. We had such a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations! He was always happy to go to “school” and learned so much. People stop us everywhere to tell us how well behaved he is. We can’t thank Deirdre and the Dog Wizard enough for their excellent care and training. We will be continuing with their off leash training in a few weeks! I highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jeremy did an awesome job with Shadow. Until Shadow's first day he lived outside all alone and the only interaction he had was to be fed once a day. I asked the folks that owned him if I could have him and they said yes and today he graduated from The Dog Wizard and is doing really good and has manners and just is happy and Tge Dog Wizard got us off on the right foot. They keep you updated with videos and texts and again are the place you need to take you pup to for training and socializing. Ask for Jeremy he will make you proud and Dog a well trained partner for life.

For the past 2 weeks, my dog Louie was attending the training and boarding program at the Dog Wizard. Firstly, I’d like to give my deepest thanks to Amado for taking such good care of Louie! Second, Louie has definitely improved under Amado’s tutelage. The training consisted of sitting, going down, place, heeling all with distractions. Louie has gotten close to mastering these lessons and with Amado’s guidance, my wife and I will continue the lessons. The Dog Wizard is fantastic and I highly recommend its services, given my dog is a highly stubborn Frenchie.
