10/10! Dr. Coombs and her staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I’ve always had issues with vets cause they can sometimes subconsciously cater more to dogs… not here! My cat can be aggressive with vets from past traumatic experiences, but the vets here were very professional and handled my cat with gentleness and care. I would recommend this vet to any and all cat owners without reservations.

My cat Pancho passed away almost two months ago, and I still wish I had brought him to Cat Doctors much earlier. After taking him to multiple vets in Tampa, Cat Doctors was the one place where I truly felt that the staff and the doctor genuinely cared about my little one. Unfortunately, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him down. However, the support and compassion I received from Dr. Connolly and the veterinary technicians was unmatched. It was probably the hardest day of my life, but being surrounded by such kind and empathetic people made an incredibly painful moment a little more bearable. I truly felt that they cared about my baby in his final moments. As someone who can be very particular and critical about where I go for care, I can confidently say that Cat Doctors is absolutely the best in Tampa. I wouldn’t take my future kitties anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Connolly, and everyone who supported my boyfriend and me that day. I will never forget your kindness.

Five stars isn't enough! A trusted vet recommended the Cat Doctors to us and we drove almost an hour to their clinic and it was the best choice we made for our cat! We were so impressed with the care our sphinx cat received with Dr. Whitlow and his staff and how they accommodated us last minute. They are soooo compassionate, empathetic, and caring. Dr. Whitlow made us feel so comfortable and understood regarding our apprehension about neutering our cat and took so much time listening to us and gently offering his recommendations and advice. I really can't say enough about our experience with him at the Cat Doctors. Highly, highly recommend!!

We live with two cats. The older one is probably around 16-17 years old, and the younger one is now 12. The older one has beautiful fur and is very handsome, but he absolutely hates going to the vet.Taking him to the vet is like leading doctors and nurses into a lion's den, so we always feel sorry for the clinic staff. This time, our older cat (Monge)had a persistent, uncomfortable cough for almost a month. So, we had no choice but to take him to the vet. After explaining to the clinic staff as best we could about Monge (and how much he hates the vet), we took him in for treatment. Since a chest X-ray was necessary, anesthesia was unavoidable. Monge is a descendant of lions with such a strong will that even two tranquilizer pills don't calm him down, so anesthesia is the only way to treat him. While he was under anesthesia, we also had a lion cut done, as we always do. Fortunately, after all the treatments, the results showed that it was an allergy accompanied by a slight asthma. After just one day of giving him the medication, Monge’s cough miraculously stopped. Dr.Coombs, we sincerely thank you for your kindness and the genuine care you show for our cats( Include Charlie). Even though we have to drive about 50 minutes to get there, because it’s worth to see Dr Coombs! And thanks to Hailey and Kade as well. We've had Monge’s lion cut done a total of six times, but this lion cut is truly perfect!! Who seems to firmly believe he is a descendant of lions, a wonderful lion-style haircut that helped him find his true identity. Also, thanks to all the other kind staff members, we feel very comfortable and happy at The Cat Doctors.

I adopted Ava Gardner & Orange Julius as kittens from a shelter fully vaccinated & spayed/neutered, so I did a lot of research to find a vet for their first annual visit. The location was warm, inviting, & serene. Dr. Miller was extraordinarily compassionate, thorough, informative, encouraging (these are my first cats!!) & of course brilliant all the way around. Lydia was charming, uplifting, encouraging, & also helped ease the entire process!! I drove over an hour for the appointment, & so glad I did. We found a vet for life!!
