Temple Terrace Animal Hospital

After adopting our guinea pig from the humane society 3 years ago, we had to find a veterinary office that takes exotic pets (who knew Ken was so worldly lol) and finally found one in Temple Terrace. We have been so pleased with them eat every visit (he goes for routine check ups regularly, and nail trims) and everyone has always been so friendly and professional. Every staff member we interacted with was equally helpful and assisted in suggestions in making sure that our chunky boy gets the proper nutrition, enrichment, and care he needs to live his best life. While it is not close to us I would drive any day of the week to have the kind of care and attention they give our boy every visit. Clean and inviting waiting area and exam rooms. When I had my 9 year old call to make her pet his last appointment the person who answered the phone was patient and helpful, taking the time to talk to her even with I’m sure a busy office around her. Would recommend them to anyone who asked they are worth the drive!

I came to this vet in an emergency with my cat and stayed with them for their annual check ups. This is genuinely one of the most caring vets you can go to in Tampa Bay. They have taken such great care of my anxious cat Honeywell and I couldn’t ask for a more patient and understanding staff. I highly recommend this vet for any service!

My visit to Temple Terrace Animal Hospital was excellent! My two dogs received wellness exams. I was worried about the vision of one of my pets. However, what I thought was a concern turned out to be an issue needing only monitoring. To my relief, the veterinarian, Dr. Maria Horvath, was very reassuring, patient, and kind. She explained each step of the exam and gave suggestions to benefit my dog's health now and in the future. The vet techs were just as skilled in handling my beloved dogs. They were attentive and precise in their approach during the tests. I was very impressed by the organization and teamwork I saw. The office was clean and efficient. I had been searching for a place where I could trust the care of my two adorable dogs, and I'd been driving past this office, looking to find better. Well, this is the best by far. Such amazing staff and veterinarian! I was a little nervous about coming here for the first time due to my last experience with a local vet. But they put my mind at ease within 5 minutes of entering the examination room. The staff is very warm and knowledgeable. I expressed my concerns with my cat and they went over each issue in detail. I had informed them up front that I did have another cat that I would planned on bringing in depending on how this visit went, so of course I was concerned about cost. They broke everything down to the penny. They let me make the decision. They gave me options! I never felt pressured or guilted on the care and procedures I chose. I cannot wait to come back with my little girl kitty. I highly recommend them! My big boy Jonesy absolutely loves them.
