(from Google)Took my boyfriend’s children’s dog, who they’ve had for over 10 years, to the YCAH. Upon checking out, I went to make an appointment for our new puppy, who has been being seen by a different office, not affiliated with this one. They somehow messed the paperwork up and linked the two charts together and when I tried to get it straightened out, they told me they could not do anything until they get “permission” from the ex-wife, as she is the primary person on the chart. The ex wife has never even met my puppy, nor myself. The office had no problem doing office visits and accepting payments without a phone call to the ex-wife over the past however long from my boyfriend or myself when we bring the older dog in but now we can’t make an appointment for our puppy without having to talk to the ex-wife first. When I told them OK then I will cancel my appointment and take her somewhere else, they had no issue with losing a customer. In fact they were pretty rude when hanging up. You definitely won’t catch me bringing either dog back into this office.
Got us in for an appt for 2 dogs in a short amt of time. Staff friendly. One dog got antibiotics for a uti and the other one got nsaids for arthritis. Xrays and labs were drawn. I thought the price was very reasonable. Pleased with our experience.
A few days ago was one of the hardest times ever for my family. We lost our cat Frankie he passed away on his own. Community Animal Hospital was so respectful and genuinely caring it just meant everything to us . Then a few days later we received a sympathy card , his paw prints and seeds for a flower. They didn’t have to do this however they took the time and it was the kindest gesture. Thank you so much for all you do!
I love taking my “grand-doggies” to Dr. Sloat for their medical treatments. The staff is wonderful and attentive to questions or concerns. Highly recommended!
my family consists of several rescue animals. I have found it very difficult to find a good vet since beginning our adoption journey, and we’ve been to many! However, after stumbling across this wonderful place, we will never go anywhere else ever again. Not only are they willing to work with you as far as your budget goes, but from the front of the house to the back ( the vet ) everyone is super thorough and makes sure you understand what they’re saying no matter the time it may take. Never once did I feel rushed, no matter how busy they were. Dr was spot on every time with my senior rescue when others just treated her symptoms, not the underlying cause. I can’t speak highly enough about this office and all the staff! Highly recommend!!
