McInnish Dog Park

This is our favorite local dog park. Three sections: little dog, wet dog and big dog. We like the wet dog section in Summer. The dogs play and got so hot they need to jump in the pond to cool off. The section with the pond also has lots of trees and shade, plus some open grass sections for dogs to run and play catch. The one downside is that its adjacent to the city animal shelter, and there's some electrical/mechanical hum coming from that property non-stop that's loud and annoying.

I could see it being a nice dog park but there's a horrible smell. I'm not sure if it's the pond or from the city animal shelter next door. Also, the flies were insane. The grass was patchy and there aren't enough places to sit.

Good place for dogs and humans to socialize. Has picnic tables, agility objects, poop bags, trash cans, water fountains for dogs as well as humans, areas to hose off, a small pond, lots of wide open room for running dogs, some benches, tree coverage in certain places and various other things. Theres a few community dog water bowls available. Everything you need for an outing with your dog is right here, all you have to do is open the gate and let your dog roam free. Good place.

Recent rains have left 2 areas flooded in some parts, seem pictures. Big dog park for all sizes. Usually it is well stocked with pickup bags but you know sometimes you just have to search around in other play areas. Not a big deal. We come here everyday and my dog loves it. There are some dogs that could be made to behave as far as attacking other dogs when showing dominance is concerned. But I have never seen a big fight too, just keep an eye as always. As season changes the regulars change their timings too.

✅ separate fenced Area for small & large dogs. ✅ pond for swimming dogs. ✅ water fountain and tubes for washing off dogs dirt. ✅ shaded area and bench for sitting. Kinda dirty and dusty though. ✅ convenient parking. Came here on Sat morning, easy to find parking. Next to a school campus. Happy to see kids and dogs across the fence running at same time.
