The Dog Bar

My fiance and I were exploring downtown St. Pete and walked by the Dog Bar. Granted we were on vacation and did not have our dog, we still love dogs and decided to stop in and get a few drinks. It was so much fun, endless dogs roaming around and many came up and greeted us and stuck around for some scratches and pets. Such a fun, unique experience. We went in the late afternoon on a Thursday so it wasn't too crowded but was filling up when we left. Pretty good selection of beers and the bartender was very nice!

They have a vendor for food in a truck in front of the bar, have you ever had philly fries? You need to. This bar is awesome because you can bring your dogs and let them be around other dogs. Sometimes it can get a little wild but Ive never seen dogs fight each other, only be a little too playful. They have an ice bath for the dogs. Plenty of seats. There's a gated off section with a double door channel so that no dogs escape. They have TVs to watch sports and good people that hang out there. If you don't want to be around the dogs they have an awesome lounging area underneath the roof. It's more geared for those with active lifestyles. There's always an event going on from free dog baths to trivia night. Definitely a great place to check out if you're interested in becoming more social. Dogs are a great way to start a conversation.

I come here twice a week with the dogs. One dog is big and likes to play and the other is small and mainly just likes to sniff around -- both dogs are always happy here. The staff are excellent, the wooferees are attentive, and the drink selection is great (rotating beer taps which is nice). Love that this bar is very openly LGBT-friendly. The yearly membership is a great deal.

What an awesome place ! A sports bar and a cool dog park in one! This is such a happy and wonderful place. All the dogs get along well , all sizes. Owners that come here as well as the doggy attendants keep things flowing nicely. Dogs are dogs but even with many dogs here there's space for everyone, humans and dogs to have fun! They have great food trucks and a truly INCREDIBLE selection of on tap beers! My wife and I went solo (sans doggies) the first time and immediately signed up our dogs! I hope to see you there, it's a great way to meet nice people and dogs and try a beer or three 😳😉😊.

I went for the first time on Halloween 🎃 and it was amazing. Awesome staff great drinks and an our of sight environment for me and my Freeda Mae! Thanks guys, oh yeah prices were affordable and food was 5 star.
