Large lakeside park with plenty of parking, plenty of space to lay down or picnic. Very popular with school field trips.
Great for a picnic, don't feed the animals. It will make them sick or too dependent on humans for food. Some swim here, bit I'd rather be in cleaner water with less people. Sometimes beaches close due to bacteria.
Nice swimming beach with picnic tables and restrooms (with showers) nearby.
Nice park along lake, the route is easy for people to drive in and out.
