(from Google)Let me start by saying my girl LIA IS AMAZING!! It was my girlfriend and my first time here. We’re familiar with the shopping center but had never heard of this brunch spot before. We were just looking to go somewhere to eat in between class. After reading the reviews, I was honestly a little nervous because they were so mixed. As soon as we arrived, Lia greeted and seated us. It was immediately clear the restaurant is severely understaffed. When I say Lia was doing EVERYTHING — and I mean (everything except cooking and I truly mean it). Despite handling the entire front of house on her own, she stayed composed, professional, and incredibly gracious the whole time. She was kind the whole time, and you honestly wouldn’t have known how much she was managing; she just handled it and kept things moving. She took the time to apologize and explain the situation, even though none of it was her fault. You could tell she carries it on the chin and does her best, but no one should be expected to run an entire restaurant alone. The food was good, the space is adorable, and the vibe is phenomenal. There’s so much potential here, and it starts with supporting hardworking people like Lia, who absolutely deserve a damn raise!!
The whole staff were outstanding! They were there almost like magic, need a drink refreshed, BOOM! Shout out to Josh! Great kid👍, food was fantastic..I love pork lol
Lovely place with delicious food. We stopped for breakfast and had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Caramelized Plantains, and Brioche French Toast with Fruit, plus generous cups of coffee and hot chocolate. There were all amazing! Water pitchers infused with fruit are part of the service and real flowers adorn each table. The place was quiet at first and then Cuban music was played at a volume that still made conversations easy to hear. I highly recommend this place.
I found this quaint place by chance and it did not disappoint. My sisters and I were celebrating our birthdays and looking for a good Sunday Brunch!! We started with Cafe de la Olla, delicious, Ropa Vieja, Brioche French Toast, Mami's Breakfast, Smoked Salmon Bagel! We ended with Espresso Martinis!! 👌🏼
Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was pleased with my experience overall. The place wasn’t too packed, so we were seated and ordered our food right away. Our food came out pretty quickly; we ordered the steak sandwich and chilaquiles verdes. The chilaquiles sauce was pretty creamy and savory, which is different from other places. They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from (mimosas, michelada, and cafe de olla). We will probably come back to try other dishes since they do offer a wide variety of dishes.
