Banfield Pet Hospital

This was my first time at the Manchester Banfield Vet, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. From the start, I felt pressured by the technician to get the Bordetella vaccine for my dog even after I clearly explained that I do not plan on bringing him to dog parks, boarding facilities, doggy daycares, or grooming salons. I said no, but it was still kept on there. What makes this even worse is that nobody explained the possible side effects of this vaccine. Now my dog is not acting like himself, and as a pet owner that is extremely concerning. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that they took my dog out back for his exam instead of doing it in the room with me. Every other vet I’ve been to has always done the exam right in front of me, so this felt very strange and left me feeling uneasy. On top of that, my appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM, but the doctor didn’t come in until around 4:30 PM. I didn’t leave until 5:12 PM. Waiting that long with no communication was frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, this was a poor first experience, and I left feeling unheard, pressured, and disappointed.

I personally LOVE Banfield! I bring both of my dogs: One is very vocal and they’re so understanding, and treat her with so much love. She goes for regular check ups, shots, and also for her age. Anything I have questions about I bring her in. *Edit* i brought her in to get euthanized and they did everything to make sure she was comfortable I really am thankful for all of the staff My other dog can be very people reactive and dog aggressive, but they treat him like any other dog and they’re so understanding. I don’t trust a lot of people with him because of his reactive/aggressive behavior, but they have definitely earned my trust. He had his first appointment today for shots and I didn’t think he would be capable to get his shots done, but he did. As always, they have exceeded my expectations once again! (picture of my dogs)

Always happy and willing to help. Appointment have always been on time. The care is great!! I have the OCP Plan of insurance with Banfield!! I just wish you had scheduled appointment for normal care well in advance? I also wish The claw care was included like every 2 months?

Very informative and helpful. Kinda pricey, but they were open when others were not. Fast appointment as well. My 18 yo cat is doing much better now!

I love love love our vet, the techs and the front desk! They are all amazing and so caring for my Annabelle and me! My cat is almost 20 and they hadle her with such great care! I won't go anywhere else! I used to go to the emergency vet, I trusted them more. Not anymore, Banfield has come through for us time ans time again! Thank u. We love u guys ❤️🐈🐾🐾🐾🐾
